Inventec, NVIDIA, and Solomon Join Forces to Advance AI-Driven Smart Manufacturing for Servers with Isaac cuMotion

[Taipei – May 19th] – Inventec has announced a strategic collaboration with NVIDIA and Solomon, ushering in a new era of intelligent automation through an exclusive collaborative robotic arm system (usually called Cobot systems). This advanced solution is seamlessly integrated with Inventec own Manufacturing Execution System (MES), enabling real-time production data uploading, centralized management, and monitoring. Empowered by Solomon’s AI-powered optical inspection software, the system features rapid learning capabilities using few-shot learning. Compared to traditional machine vision development processes, training time is reduced by at least 50%, allowing Inventec to maintain the agility required for flexible manufacturing environments. NVIDIA’s Isaac Manipulatore CUDA-X acceleration libraries are also embedded in the system, boosting complex motion planning speed by up to 8 times and reducing robotic singularity-related interference errors by 50%. These upgrades improve both the speed and reliability of automated inspection. Since integrating this system into its server production lines, Inventec has seen better quality control and lower manufacturing costs. Looking ahead, Inventec, NVIDIA, and Solomon plan to continue to explore more applications for AI-driven smart manufacturing.
