Since 2000, Inventec has successfully spun off business divisions into independent companies for different products and customers and has been rewarded with satisfactory investment returns and risk reduction. Inventec Appliances Corp. stands out as the top mobile phone supplier with the brand of OKWAP in Taiwan. Inventec Appliances perseveres to strive for growing in China and with ODM customers. Inventec Multimedia & Telecom Corp., manufacturers of communication and multi-media products, has started volume shipment of USB flash drive to world famous customers. Inventec Besta Co., Ltd. continues to launch innovative electronic dictionaries. Besta also strengthens the development of software applications and is looking to a more prosperous business. Besides, Inventec Corp. has set up global logistics service network which provides manufacture and service support in Czech and U.S.A. The latest deployment in Shanghai has been completed for sharing manufacturing loads, which has further strengthened the global operation.

R & D Status

R & D expenditure in 2011 is NT$4,765 million. Inventec has proven our design capability by successfully developed new models of notebook PC and Server. Not only Inventec has superior manufacturing, but also creativity and competitiveness.
