Company Introduction
Inventec Appliances Corporation, originally the Inventec Handheld Device Division, became an independent company in 2000. The Corporation established its headquarters in Taipei and integrated its R&D and manufacturing capabilities in Shanghai and Nanjing to design a variety of products in intelligent network terminals and wireless communications sectors. The product offerings include: PDA, Mobile Phones, MP3 Players, GPS, Graphic Calculators, and Wi-Fi Phone

From the beginning, IAC has aspired to be an industry leader in telecommunications and network. Utilizing the resources of the greater China area, IAC follows two basic business models: Community Own Brand Marketing (COBM) and Integrated Original Design Manufacturing (IODM).

Dual Axis Approach
IAC drew upon its competitive edge in technological integration and complete service in creating an unique dual axle business model of Community Own Brand Marketing (COBM) and Integrated Original Design Manufacturing (IODM).

Through the COBM model, IAC created the Chinese brand OKWAP. This localizied brand promotes many kinds of products and value-added services. Year 2000 -- Establishment of Inventec Appliances Corporation approved on May 12th,

Year 2001 -- Awarded ISO-9001, ISO-9002, and ISO-14001 certification from SGS of the UK.
Year 2002 -- Merged with Inventec Online Corporation.
Year 2003 -- Acquired Inventec (Shanghai) Electronics Corp.
Year 2004 -- Invested in Inventec (Shanghai) Technology Corp.
